**Descripción y Requisitos**
**SUMMARY / POSITION PURPOSE**:
Management Operational Purchasing Team Attending raw materials requirements for Appliance production plants, which implies supplier management taking care potential cost impacts and orders implementations to keep supply chain operations running efficiently.
**REQUIRED EDUCATION**:
1.
Bachelor Degree on Business or Industrial Engineering
2.
Effective Negotiation training.
3.
Suppliers and Industrial Quality knowledge.
**EXPERIENCE, KNOLEDGEMENTS, SKILLS AND ATTITUDES**:
1.
5 years of Purchasing experience in a discrete manufacturing environment
2.
Excellent Negotiations Skills and ability to influence without authority
3.
Good technical skills in reading blue prints and understanding technical specifications
4.
Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
5.
Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills
6.
Experience working with Engineering, Supply chain, sales, operations and corporate teams.
7.
Ability to work effectively from the shop floor to middle and high management.
8.
Professional oral and written communication and presentation skills
10.
Great financial, statistics and cost benefits analyst skills.
11.
Proficiency in English, both written and oral
12.
Excellent Human relationships
**MAIN ACTIVITIES AND JOB AUTHORITY**:
1.
Manage suppliers on a local and international basis to support plant operations.
2.
To lead and to couch to operational purchasing team on many tasks, like issuing and updating Purchase Orders to Suppliers (negotiation's skills, pricing reports analysis and specifications and quality revisions).
3.
Supporting Procurement Team with spot buys and expediting following an agreed upon escalation process
4.
Supporting and interacting other ECI Departments like: Customs, Finance, Product Engineering, Quality and Corporate teams with Purchasing Data and operational tasks.
5.
Leading or following up annual implementations at purchasing side on operative projects or task like: Standard cost, Wire bid, Customers and suppliers business contracts.
6.
Develop and Implement local cost savings and value improvement projects with knowledge and support of Commodity Directors
7.
Follow up Special or Critical Customer's projects or Suppliers contingencies to achieve goals or specific objectives, interacting with ECI Sales Accounts Managers and Directors.
8.
Work with suppliers on continuous improvement projects to improve materials flow including perfect order compliance (MOQ, LT, packaging, paperwork, invoicing, etc.)
9.
Managing Operational Purchasing team.
- Supervising, monitoring and couching their activities.
**KEY ACTIVITIES OF THE POSITION**:
1.
Material shortage solving.
2.
Monitoring and following up updates on Purchase Orders and BPCs parameters or fields.
3.
Calls and conference calls with Suppliers
4.
Monitoring and supervising Invoicing and quotations checking
5.
Analyzing quotations and purchasing documents and spec-sheets
6.
Working with Excel and BPCs data files.
7.
Costs benefits analysis (Tooling investments, EOQs)
8.
Attending Internal and external meetings inside ECI organization and with suppliers
9.
Attending trainings (Quality-ISO-9000, Customs regulations, Web-pages and electronic interfaces.)
10.
Providing purchasing reports, metrics and indices to ECI Corporate and ISO-9000 certifications audits
