Purchasing Manager

**Company Description**A vibrant community on the untouched Mexico shoreline, Susurros del Corazón is a private seaside enclave marrying raw beauty with the playful spirit of a luxuriously relaxed surf retreat.The Purchasing Manager will manage and optimize purchasing activities and processes, identify suppliers, research goods and services, process purchase orders, verify delivered items and supervise staff. This individual will also ensure that all purchases are made in accordance with the property budget and business needs.- Lead and direct the work of the Receiving Clerk including hiring, training and supervising- Select the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency- Develop and implement purchasing strategies as well as manage inventory needs- Coordinate and partner with internal teams regarding their supply and equipment needs- Manage supplier relations and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, etc.- Maintain the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation- Report and review menu matrix and F&B cogs with Executive Team- Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets- Prepare and process purchase orders- Schedule and verifying purchase deliveries**Qualifications**- Previous experience as a Purchasing Manager or similar position- Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational and documentation skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing- Proficiency in computers and information technology- Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field preferred- Total proficiency with Microsoft Offce, accounting software, PMS and GSuite (preferred)- Deep experience with hotel financial reporting systems, policies and procedures.**Additional Information**Susurros del Corazon is situated on the sparkling Riviera Nayarit and will sit on a bluff fringed by tropical jungle that tumbles down to an intimate white sand beach, where warm breezes ruffle hammocks, surfers play on the horizon and perfect sunsets end each extraordinary day.
