As a PURCHASING OPERATIONS AGENT you will understand needs to accomplish the purchase of goods and services using a Strategic Purchasing Methodology in compliance with the Global Purchasing Policy.**Key Responsibilities**- Operate purchasing processes according to the criteria and guidelines required by internal users and supervisor to ensure compliance with the Global Purchasing Policy and all internal policies impacted by the process.- Manage strategic purchasing processes (SSP): Spending analysis, internal/external market analysis and cost drivers.- Consolidate information related to the purchase of goods and services under its management: scope, specifications, volumes, base costs, potential suppliers.- Elaborate and present to the supervisor the supplier evaluation matrices that contemplate the important variables of each purchase category, including organizational, financial, operational, and commercial aspects.- Manage requisitions and purchase orders (SI's, PO's, BPA's) of the categories under your management to meet the needs of internal users.- Handle conflicts between supplier and internal users related to purchase order management.- Manage the main Goals: (Savings, Payment Terms, Working Capital, Buyer's Service Level)**Qualifications**- Professional degree- Work experience of 2+ years, desirable in areas related to purchasing / procurement.- Advanced level of English- Desirable experience in strategic purchasing process, negotiation with suppliers and savings projects.- Experience using any ERP in purchasing module is desirable.- Knowledge of contracts.Benefits included will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process, like medical benefits, life insurance and more.**About us**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way: We partner with customers to create mutual value.
