**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**
As an intern in the DBS MX Hub you will have the exposure to business since day 1.
Experience in an international company to start your professional career path and you will learn how DBS and Digital Transformation works in BAT.
We are looking for an analytical attitude, teammate leader that is willing to supply to the Digital Transformation of BAT.
**Reports to**:Supplier Manager Mexico & Canada
**Reporting Level**:Intern
**Geographic Scope**:Mexico and Canada
**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Place materials purchase orders/contracts in-line with supplier lead-times to meet multiple factory production plan requirements in SAP and Rapid Response system.
- Ensure period of material cover is sufficient, whilst maintaining target inventory levels and efficient supplier price.
- Maintain target stock levels within the factory and complete all cost reduction activities initiated by procurement, factory, etc.
- Arrange delivery of materials with the supplier to the factory and where vital resolve any logistics issues.
- Input master data into SAP and Rapid Response system for new materials.
- Explore opportunities for improved planning efficiency and placing of materials orders.
- To work with the Production Planning team when a material shortage is identified to ensure the issue is resolved quickly with minimum impact to the factory.
- Working with other teams and departments to implement the phasing in and out of new/old materials as part of a controlled process (achieving agreed deadlines with minimum cost).
**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

- Do you have General Knowledge of Supply Chain?
- Are you currently studying Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or any equivalent qualifications?
**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- General Knowledge of Supply Chain, and specific skills will be developed during the internship.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Good English proficiency (at least 80%).
- High knowledge of Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- To work unsupervised and under pressure.
- Good interpersonal and prioritization skills
- Student in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or any equivalent qualifications.
