Welcome to Bosch Job DescriptionM/PPV-VDS1 is responsible for the Purchasing management project of the division Vehicle Motion.
Project Manager and interface for Division / Business Unit and Material field Purchasing for strategic and operative topics.
Position is responsible for the efficient release of purchased parts in the region, in coordination with new product launches.
Ensure the achievement of project goals (cost, quality, deadlines, budget and capacity).
Purchasing interface to the Business Units and change management for life of product.
Specific DutiesInterface between Corporate Purchasing and the Business unitResponsible for MAT cost and capacity at product levelResponsible for request of quotation of new projects, saving projects, and following toolsManaging of Engineering Changes affecting purchased componentsProduct technical interface to suppliersProject management in the field of external procurement for every new project (platform, variants, applications) worldwideResponsibility for achieving project goals (expenses, quality, scheduled dates, budget)Participation in the SE-Team, coordination of SE-Work with suppliersPerforming technical supplier discussionsInterface with purchasing organization for strategic and operative topicsSupervision of series products (Engineering Change Management)Establish second suppliersResponsibility for ratio-projects and change managementQualificationsMechanical or Industrial EngineerProject ManagementInterpretation of technical drawings of engineering areasExperience in Automotive IndustryExpertise in Production processesTools and purchasing processesAdditional InformationBy choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce – EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled.
