Purchasing Quality Engineer

**Job Description**:1. Defines preventive quality elements for each component and supplier based on the understood cause and effect relationships (e.G. DRBFM-systematic)2. Ensures iterative handling of Special Characteristics under consideration of the complete value (supply) chain- With engineering and manufacturing in SE-Team (documented in CDQ0306 list)- Integrates supplier feedback regarding manufacturability and testing concept3. Participates in sourcing meeting with focus on quality aspects4. Defines sampling requirements, evaluation and release of samples (new parts and changes)5. Triggers and releases measuring comparison before initial sampling (measuring done by PQA)6. Content review of P-FMEA and control plan7. Defines and validates traceability requirements with supplier9. Considers series experience / lessons learned of other projects**Qualifications**:1. Degree in engineering2. Expert for quality methods and tools (FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, IATF 16949, VDA6)3. Analytical thinking as well as independent and systematic approach4. Collaborative skills, flexibility and assertiveness5. Willingness to travel6. English skills B2 (upper intermediate)7. Several years of professional experience in Production or Quality management8. Leadership approach in project management in cross functional teams9. 4+ years in automotive manufacturing environment. Quality systems experience / expertise including auditing, Good understanding on GD&T. Desirable previous experience as SQA, STA or SQE10. Excellent communication skills, work well independently, high motivated and results oriented
