**Job Purpose and Summary**
Responsible for raw materials sourcing, supplier selection, pricing and terms negotiation, order processing, contract administration and supplier performance management.
Developing and maintaining relationships and communications with internal stakeholders.
**Essential Job Requirements**
- Manage projects/ processes, working independently with limited supervision
- Evaluates and negotiates various raw materials contracts items
- Determine requirements and act upon tasks in order of urgency
- Organize and track daily requests, quotes, and purchase orders
- Ensures urgent requests are coordinated properly through internal processes
- Maintain strong working relationships with our vendors and internal customers
- Develop, maintain, and analyze ERP (SAP) systems
- Helping to problem-solve issues and suggest ways to improve the process
- Carrying out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner
- Ability to participate, work and/or lead cross functional multinational teams effectively
**Education and/or Experience**
- Technical Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or related degree preferred.
- 5-8 Years' Experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management required.
- Advanced Supply Chain or Procurement Certifications preferred.
**Knowledge, Skills, and General Abilities**
- Advance skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- High proficiency in database creation/management, ERP systems, SAP, SAP Ariba and Power BI
- Ability to learn quickly, understand business systems, and adapt to urgent requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (completely fluent in English)
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure with mínimal supervision
- Solid knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes, policy, and systems
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
**Physical Requirements**
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard, reach, stoop and kneel
**Working Environment**
- This is a hybrid-remote position.
- Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
