**Purchasing Staff****Activities**:- Procurement of materials for overall the purchases in the plant, including MRO and production, ensuring quality, cost, and timely delivery.- Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and reputation.- Negotiate with suppliers the terms of purchase, including prices, delivery times, payment conditions, and others.- Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials.- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that purchased materials meet required standards.- Maintain an updated database of suppliers and material prices.- Coordinate and execute commercial pricing agreements and detailed breakdowns.
**Skills**:- Supplier management.- Negotiation skills.- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to analyze data.- Identify and manage risks associated with the supply chain.- Process Optimization to increase eficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the company competitiveness.- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
**Knowledge**:- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in the automotive industry.- Knowledge of procurement processes and negotiation with suppliers.- Verbal an written english, to communicate effectively with international suppliers.- Desirable technical knowledge of materials and components (basically cables).- Desirable ability to analyze market trends.
