.Descripción y detalle de las actividades- Lead and supervise the procurement team to ensure efficient and effective purchasing processes. - Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize inventory management and minimize shortages. - Oversee the purchasing process and supports Sourcing vendor selection and negotiation to order placement and delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, planning, and warehouse, to understand demand forecasts and proactively plan procurement activities accordingly. - Monitor inventory levels and implement appropriate inventory control measures, such as setting minimum stock levels, safety stock, and reorder points. - Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records, identify discrepancies, and take corrective actions as necessary. - Continuously evaluate vendor performance, establish and maintain strong vendor relationships, and supports Sourcing to negotiate favorable terms and conditions. - Analyze market trends, industry developments, and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers. - Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of procurement processes. - Prepare regular reports and presentations on procurement activities, inventory status, and performance metrics for management review. - Monitor and balance individual team member workloads across the team on a regular basis. - Standardize and streamline purchasing processes across the organization. - Support team by being a team player/coach - 70% tactical and 30% strategic. - Support and help define strategy development for Sourcing strategies and local vendor. - Create and maintain accurate, organized records.Experiência y requisitos- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. - 8+ Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, or related roles, preferably in a supervisory capacity. - Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and techniques, including vendor management and contract negotiations. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. - Proficient in using procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. - Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors. - Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail. - Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. - Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
