This position involves the translation of customer specifications and industry standards into product/process criteria and creating control plans to achieve those requirements. You'll also address the day-to-day issues with production quality within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites and supplier facilities.Responsibilities & Requirements:Coordinate a program of random inspections to evaluate the quality of the processes.Coordinate analysis to determine preventive actions to reduce defects or improve processes.Issuance of reports/metrics of different indicators of the QRC´s.Lead interdepartmental groups solving problems related to KPI indicators.Coordinate with production to plan and execute inbound and production checks.Manage relations with customers or third-party inspectors.Participate in external supplier quality testing and audits.Keep the Quality Quest updated with all the information of NCRs and ensure the correct closing of the report.Generate the inspection plan to ensure the quality of the parts/equipment that arrive/leave the Site.Generate photographic release reports of equipment in final assembly.Validate the quality of the information in the documents delivered by the production department.Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CI) events.Maintain and analyze data to provide information or identify problems for management and stakeholders on the state of a process or product quality.Other duties as assigned.Preferred Experience / Skills:Mechanical, Industrial Engineering.Solid knowledge in manufacturing processes.Knowledge of standards (ASME, ISO 9001).Experience with development and implementation of PFMEA & Control.Work Team Management Experience in problem solving (8D, A3, DMAIC, 3x5Whys, Fishbone, C&E).Experience in Measurement equipment use
