**Role Summary**:- As a QA Engineer, you will support in the development, implementation and running of quality control programs and procedures.- This position involves the translation of customer specifications and industry standards into product / process criteria and creating control plans to achieve those requirements.- You'll also address the day-to-day issues with production quality within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites and supplier facilities.**Responsibilities & Requirements**:- Review the information in the Transfer File of the order prior to the Kick Off Meeting.- Generate the preliminary ITP based on information from the PMU, Datasheet, Specifications and technical clarifications of the Order Entry process.- Issuing the final ITP based on the information of the Transfer File considering the clarifications with the client.- Follow up on clarifications in customer specifications to generate the quality plan (ITP).- Guarantee compliance with the ITP throughout the life of the project.- Execute and document the non-destructive test of PMI.- Management of root cause analysis necessary to prevent quality problems. Manage the document system and information flow for the preparation of the dossier.- Lead the implementation of special certifications derived from customer requirements.- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through the implementation of CIP projects.- Comply with the goals of Santa Clara according to the KPIs defined by the Corporate (COPQs, OTD, CARs, CSS, financial results).- Ensure compliance with company safety rules and regulations by the team**Preferred Experience / Skills**:- Experience in engineering and utilization of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies- Experience in quailty control department- Understanding of product / process flow- Strong organizational skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Mechanical Engineering or similar and 3-5 years relevant experience
