We are looking for an experienced **Software Quality Assurance Engineer **to join our team in Guadalajara, Mexico.PosiTrace system provides real-time GPS tracking of vehicles and other mobile assets. An advanced software-as-a-service for improved Fleet management with real-time Google Maps view of asset location and data, reporting, maintenance, and various fleet management features.**Job Summary****Responsibilities**- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly validate software functionality, performance, and security.- Perform manual and automated testing across web-based platforms and mobile apps to identify defects and ensure optimal user experience.- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues and scenarios that might not be covered by formal test cases.- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.- Participate in requirements review and design discussions to provide QA insights and contribute to improving software quality from the early stages.- Identify, report, and track defects using issue tracking systems, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.- Execute regression testing to validate bug fixes and ensure that new code changes do not introduce new defects.- Perform compatibility testing across different browsers, devices, and platforms to ensure consistent functionality.- Collaborate in the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing efforts.- Provide input into the creation and maintenance of testing environments and test data to simulate real-world scenarios.- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software quality assurance and testing.**Qualifications and Skills**- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and processes.- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and experience with test case design and execution.- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.G., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.- Knowledge of API testing, performance testing, and security testing concepts.- Experience with issue tracking, test management tools and documentation tools. (e.G.
