Qa Engineer

**Responsibilities**:

- Code and run automated software test suites
- Hands-on testing with tape and robots using Quantum's automated Tape Libraries
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Suggest and help drive best practices and optimizations throughout SDLC
- Collaborate with fellow technicians to develop new approaches for creating more thorough test coverage
- Understand tape library features from requirements and conversation

Qualifications that will help you succeed:

- Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field
- Familiarity with any scripting or programming language, git, any DevOps or Automated testing experience such as:

- Experience with selenium, gitlab, java, python, git, REST, SQL database
- 2+ years experience in QA or DevOps
- Familiarity with systems development life cycle (SDLC), JIRA, AGILE
- Healthy analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

Highly desirable additional experience:

- Linux command line experience
- Tape backup experience
