The Quality Engineer is responsible for providing investigation and root cause analysis of product failures. Works closely with various Engineering functions (Reliability, Design, Manufacturing, etc.) in a closed-loop, corrective-action process to improve product quality and reliability performance.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for working with cross-functional groups to coordinate strategies for meeting customer's requirements in all quality areas that also serve AE's business needs.Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive action due to customer (internal-external) complaints.Define, design, develop, and implement SPC tools for assembly tools, manufacturing, and test fixtures.Establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system.Interact with Engineering and Operations to ensure an appropriate transfer of new products, PPAP.Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing activities of receiving/outgoing quality functions.Participates in Design Reviews to ensure compliance with reliability standards and customer requirements.Review Engineering Change Requests for customer approval requirements and submission.Perform weekly, monthly trend analysis and coordinate corrective actions with involved areas.Define SPC to manufacturing processes and monitor weekly and monthly performance, implement countermeasures.Interact constantly with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Materials, and Support Areas to ensure robust processes using PPAP, SPC, and LEAN tools.SKILLS:Experience in Electronics Industry (preferable).Experience in Automotive Industry and/or Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) (preferable).Six Sigma Certification (preferable).3+ years' experience in manufacturing (preferred).3+ years in quality system maintenance.English proficiency (85%).LEAN Manufacturing tools.Excellent computer skills (Statistical Software, Office – Excel, etc.).Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Electronic Engineering.#J-18808-Ljbffr
