**Responsibilities**:
- Transform complex functional specifications and team knowledge into clear, testable designs in a consistent and approachable manner
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Suggest and help drive best practices and optimizations throughout SDLC
- Collaborate with fellow technicians to develop new approaches for creating more precise and engaging knowledge base articles for the company
- Manage complex information and multiple projects with clear design specifications as the 'glue' that keeps all parts of the team working together and in sync
- Run project requirements meetings to gather necessary knowledge
- Use automated testing suites and their implementation as a basis for new QA specs
Qualifications that will help you succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field
- 4+ years of experience in technical writing or software documentation
- 4+ years experience in QA or DevOps
- Expert in documentation tools such as Confluence
- Familiarity with systems development life cycle (SDLC), JIRA, AGILE
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Healthy analytical and critical thinking skills
Highly desirable additional experience:
- Familiarity with any scripting or programming language, git, any DevOps or Automated testing experience
- SCRUM master experience
- Tape backup experience
