The Quality Assurance Manager will perform duties related to the administration of the Quality program for all regional operated sites and work closely with the QA team.
**Duties And Responsibilities**
- Co-ordinating external assessments/audits with accreditation/registration bodies.
- Providing training on elements of the Quality program.
- Providing technical and advisory support on matters related to the management system.
- Providing reports on quality assurance and quality control activities to the management team.
- Assisting in the standardization and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Assisting/Managing the development and validation of local technical methods.
- Reviewing and updating any measurement uncertainty data collected for technical methods.
- Assisting in the control and revision of procedures and associated documents.
- Working directly with sites to ensure that non-conformances are being effectively addressed.
- Assisting in the investigation of client complaints and reporting of responses.
- Administering the verification program for balances, working weights and thermometers.
- Managing the external calibration program.
- Managing laboratory proficiency testing activities.
- Managing quality control activities related to reference and proficiency test materials.
- Participating in professional development and training as required.
**Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**
- Must have Bachelor's Degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in management systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO17025, ISO45001 standards.
- Knowledge in local regulations for the correct operation of laboratories.
- Knowledge in management systems and internal and external audits.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver engaging presentations.
