Additionally, we ranked as one of the Best Companies for Female Talent by EFY.PurposeAs a QA Engineer, you'll be responsible for promoting a culture of quality by participating, either as executor or as support for others, in requirement analysis, test planning, test strategies creation, test scenarios definition, and test automation. You'll also be responsible for ensuring the development process and its execution meet the quality requirements. The QA chapter defines the quality standards and processes that must be followed by the rest of the team.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the team to design and build automation suites that fulfill the functional and non-functional requirements.Write and execute test plans and guide others to execute them.Identify and manage software defects.Identify, communicate, and evaluate risks.Define the QA and automation best practices.Code reviewing.Position RequirementsAt least 2 years of progressive experience in software engineering QA.Experience with native, browser-based, and hybrid mobile applications.API Testing knowledge.Ability to create test plans and test strategies that consider the different levels of testing.Experience working with developers and other team members to define test strategies, technologies used, and best practices.Ability to manage and communicate software defects.Experience with software risk assessment and decision-making processes.Ability to undertake and lead medium to complex projects that require multiple iterations and different technologies.Ability to design and implement automation frameworks.Strong experience in Software Engineering.Understanding of how a good Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is organized.Knowledge of how non-functional requirements are part of delivering a solution.Automation testing experience (creation and maintenance of scripts, test data, etc).Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Proficiency in tracking quality assurance metrics.Experience estimating, prioritizing, and planning testing activities.Experience building automation frameworks
