**Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer**
OutpostQA is looking for a highly proficient, hands-on Quality Assurance Engineer to help define and drive our software test efforts and keep our clients platform running smoothly.
You will help the existing quality assurance team build tests, validate software releases, and ensure that customers have a problem free experience.
You'll work closely with development teams, to help discover and debug issues.
Depending on your background, you may also work on building test automation for our client's software products.
**Role & Responsibilities**
- Work with QA team to find software defects on Android / iOS / Web platforms
- Help drive decisions about test strategies, test case development, requirements tracking, and test automation
- Execute test plans and report on the progress of testing
- Provide detailed bug reports to the Engineering Team using JIRA
- Reproduce and document issues reported from customers
- Support distributed development and test teams
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3-4 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience working with both iOS and Android mobile platforms
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Experience working with JIRA
- Ability to work independently and within a testing team
- Excellent written and verbal English skills (B2 proficiency or better)
**Desirable Skills**
- Experience working with high performance quality assurance teams
- Experience with regulated medical software technology
- Experience with mobile messaging technology (SMS, MMS, etc)
- Experience with Selenium and other web testing tools
- Experience working with Git and Continuous Integration / Deployment models
