**Role: QA Testing****Location: Remote****Duration: 12Month(s)**- Proficient in Agile testing methodologies, demonstrating a solid understanding of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies in a Quality Engineer role.- 6+ years of professional experience as a Quality Engineer, specializing in risk-based and behaviour-driven testing.- 2+ years of experience in back-end and API testing using tools like Postman and Rest Assured.- 1+ year(s) of working experience in scripting languages (C# or JavaScript).- 1+ year(s) of experience in writing SQL queries and working with Microsoft SQL/SQL Server.**Responsibilities**:- Align IT-QE initiatives with the overarching business strategy while actively contributing to the formulation and execution of IT-QE strategies that align with and further organizational goals.- Develop, organize, and maintain test suites (both manual and Automation) using specified automation framework/tools. Participate in peer reviews of Gherkins feature files for test coverage. Monitor and report on testing progress, promptly addressing any deviations from the established testing plan.- Develop and Implement Tests to validate functionality, performance, and reliability through APIs, automated API tests to ensure continuous integration and delivery, performance tests to assess the scalability and responsiveness of back-end systems and APIs- Create defects with detailed information for the failed test case/scenario with supporting documentation (screenshots, environment details, log files, etc.) in Bug management tool.
