**Intermediate to Advanced level of English required****This position is to be performed on site At Ensenada BC****This position doesn't have people on his charge, is to work independently and also as a part of a team**Summary:As a Quality Control and Testing Coordinator, you will be working independently and also as a part of a team that is responsible for making sure the company's products and services meet set standards and that outside partner's production lines perform efficiently. They also ensure that all testing requirements (factories and garments) are up to date, and on an accurate schedule for the company's production timelines.Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:- Digital logging of all test reports, disbursing critical failures to requires parties within 24 hours of receipt- Filling out and submitting test requests to testing labs for both domestic and import orders- Ensuring all vendor compliance requirements are followed and submitted per order- Performing performance tests and measurements on garments **(Washing, Drying and Ironing is part of the duties)**:- Learning and cataloguing all international and domestic testing protocols by retailer and by best business practices- Ensuring product compliance with international and national legislation and standards- Collating and analyzing performance charts and data against defined parameters.- Research and resolve failure rates to increase overall quality control- Establish methods to lower testing costs- Maintaining good records & communications so that qualitative & quantitative analysis is readily available- Checking daily submissions of all inspections and communications related to products being produced, by the outside QC team- Research & help resolve issues to proactively reduce failure rates to increase overall quality levels in production and packagingQualifications:- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.- Knowledge of testing processes- Experience with 3rd party testing labs- Superior written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external parties.- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and adapt to change.- Experience preferred, but not required in apparel testing, working with outside labs, such as CTL, Intertek, and BV, for domestic and international testing.- Knowledge of garment construction, têxtiles, fabrics, and technical packs.- Passionate about delivering great product and value to our customers.- Organizing, planning, and problem-solving skills.- Good statistical and numerical ability.- Organized, effective in time management.**Physical requirements**- Sit, stand, bend, occasionally lifting- Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds- 80% of the time is to be standing performing the tests on garments.**Language**:- English (required)Work Location: In person
