**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Position Summary**:
Performs PPAP Annual Revalidations as required.
**Essential Functions**:
Review of Customer Portals scorecards and PPAP Orders.
Work in completion of Customer PPAP with Project Quality Engineer.
The employee has the authority to stop the production line, when he/she notices that the product has a quality problem or defect.
**Management & Supervisory Responsibilities**:
Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).
**Knowledge**:
Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Capability Studies.
Knowledge in PFMEA & Control Plan methodology.
Familiar with Customer PPAP requirements according to AIAG.
Support PSA Activities and procedures with team members
Perform all those activities that by the nature of the position are required.
**Experience**:
Minimum 1 year of Quality or Manufacturing experience in the automotive/truck industry with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or Tier 1 supplier is required related to PPAP submission.
Customer requirements knowledge (FORD, Paccar, Volvo, Navistar) is a plus.
**Skills**:
Capable of working in a Team environment with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Project planning and follow-up skills essential.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
Able to translate and review documents in English.
**Education/Certifications**:
BS/BSET degree required in Engineering or Business Administration.
1 year of experience in an engineering environment.
Working knowledge of Automotive/Trucking Industry Quality requirements and standards a plus.
