Overall Purpose of the JobTo promote safe, responsible and compliant operations throughout the area of responsibility, ensuring that HSEQ methods and systems are implemented, used consistently and monitored regularly and appropriate support is provided to managers and employees in relevant HSEQ matters. Key Activities and Accountabilities1. Focal point for all HSEQ matters in area of responsibility including the provision of advice on relevant legislation; liaise with government and other external bodies as required including the award and/or maintenance of external certification.2. Drive implementation of, and compliance with, Expro HSEQ methods and systems in the area of responsibility to ensure consistency of approach and understanding of goals3. Identifies and agrees local HSEQ methods and systems as necessary and ensures compatibility with Group requirements4. Supports managers in the identification and delivery of HSEQ targets and goals to ensure continuous awareness and improvement of key HSEQ areas5. Ensures HSEQ policies, standards and directives are understood and followed and ensures appropriate training is provided to managers and employees as necessary6. Manages the HSEQ resources in area of responsibility to provide professional, competent and cost effective support to the business7. Ensures accidents and near misses are reported, investigated and effective corrective action taken and closed out; may take the lead during accident investigations8. Ensures non-conformance reports (PIRs) are raised, investigated and effective correction action taken and closed out; may take the lead during non-conformance investigations9. Monitors HSEQ performance and ensures compliance with reporting requirements including SAFEtrak and EPItrack reports, KPIs, planned HSE inspections etc; ensures effective dissemination of relevant HSEQ information to relevant parties10. Conducts or arranges HSEQ audits in compliance with agreed audit schedule (HSE and Quality)11. Conducts Employee Development Plan reviews and mentors direct reports; ensures appropriate training and development is made available for HSEQ team members12. Is responsible for HSEQ input to bids as required13. Facilitates HSE and Quality training as required14. Distributes Safety Alerts with the area of responsibility15. Arranges and contributes to safety and quality meetings within the area of responsibility Job Knowledge and Qualifications1. 8+ years' experience in an HSEQ environment2. Degree-qualified in a relevant subject3. NEBOSH, IOSH (or equivalent) certification4. IRCA Lead Assessor qualification (or standard industry accreditation)5.
