Qmp: Quality Manager In Project

The QMP is responsible of the quality assurance during the product development, production launch and engineering changes for project in series production. The QMP is a key member of the core team and acts a support of the Project Manager for all quality related topics. The QMP ensures that the project meets the required quality and that the safety related features are properly identified. In case of deviations (e.G. time, cost, requirements, risks) the QMP has the responsibility of ensuring that appropriate measures are defined. The QMP is disciplinary independent from the PM and has the responsibility to escalate.
