.PPS Quality and Project Management will be responsible for coordinating quality activities related to Battery Tray and Pack, managing the program milestones training for personnel, and standardizing SMP, SOP, and the quality matrix of the technology. Inventory management will ensure that spare parts are available and maintain compliance with maintenance activities. Welding matrix management will ensure processes and any changes are correctly updated to eliminate variation between amp sheets and the process to achieve > 90% OPE of assigned equipment.Develop projects to reduce transformation costs and perform benchmarking strategies with sister plants to determine actions to avoid injuries at the Toluca Battery Plant. Coordinate technical training to meet the required levels for the 5 Leak Test machine and process, and serve as a welding instructor to train personnel and technicians in welding and sealing. Responsible for managing resources to prevent online production losses using SPW methodologies to support and analyze the execution of battery tray and package components within their process.Organize plant and quality resources to efficiently lead the implementation of projects during the initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing processes for new equipment, trial production & launching, and improving operations KAI's & KPI's. Support the Toluca Battery Package as a leader within the organization by implementing the Early Equipment Management (EEM) Pillar through the application of principles and tools supporting other clusters.Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in Welding Process, MIG; TIG manual and automatic equipment.Bachelor's degree in Robotic, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Aeronautical, Controls, Systems, ChemEng, Physics or related engineering field from an ABET accredited/equivalent university.Proficiency in communicating in technical English.
