Initiating and dealing with quality-relevant issues for difficult or complicated purchase parts in series production, including conducting and coordinating the necessary complaints management if necessary in agreement with the head of the org.-unit.
Initiating charges and negotiating the reimbursement (if needed).
Conducting regular meetings, Q-visits and audits at the suppliers within the context of Q-improvements in series production.YOUR QUALIFICATIONSDuties and ResponsibilitiesProcessing the purchase parts complaints in accordance to the procedures.Initiating, coordinating and organizing the necessary rework and sorting in consultation with internal departments and the suppliers.
Inform the supplier about potential costs.Management of not conforming purchased parts including inter-company parts (ERP and physically) and coordinate the further actions (e.G.
rework, sorting, etc.)
if necessary in agreement with the head of the org.-unit.Escalation to management level in case of relevant quality risks which cannot be resolved by the supplier or by the project team.Collect the complaint related costs (e.G.
in SAP/Q220 order) including all documents (e.G.
invoices, test reports, etc.
).Following up supplier 8D reports (technical) regarding content and timing.Perform 8D evaluation (technical) (e.G.
in SAP).Lead/support supplier development program.Conduct supplier visits and audits (e.G.
VDA 6.3).Release of ISIR/PPAP (valid for GL and GH) respectively ISIR handover (valid for GL, GH, GE).Plan and conduct incoming inspection for purchased parts including documentation (e.G.
in SAP) (considering input from QPD).Responsible to manage quarantine area of purchased parts.Initiating escalation and take the lead according to the escalation process for suppliers (responsibility matrix escalation).Support in case of supplier relocations (existing supplier A to existing supplier B) and Hella outsourcing (Hella to external supplier) in series production where applicable
