**Job Overview**The goal of the QA Analyst is to focus on the overall quality of the products before release.
A skilled analyst will spend a significant amount of time on risk evaluation and requirements tracking, then use that information for preparing test plans.
A minority of time will be spent on test execution.
Career growth can be directed towards QA Architect, SDET, or management career tracks.
**Responsibilities**- Maintain familiarity with jurisdictional requirements and internal software standards.- Create and maintain test plans and test cases.- Manual software testing.- Automated software testing.- Create and maintain internal documentation.- Assist development as needed.- Assist in Postmortems, Kaizens, and other process improvement initiatives.
**Skills/Requirements**- Experience in software quality assurance.- Solid communication skills, both written and spoken.- Ability to analyze a problem and narrow down the cause.- Experience working with hardware for testing various pieces of software.- Previous experience with Jira or other ticketing software.
**Nice to Haves**- 3+ years experience in legal compliance driven testing (casino gaming, medical devices, banking software, etc.
)- Analytical degree (Philosophy, English or similar.
