Quality Assurance Engineer, Amazon PhotosAs a QAE for Amazon Photos, you'll collaborate with Developers, Software Developers in Test (SDET's), QAE's, QA managers (QAM's), Software Development Engineers (SDE's), Product managers and Technical program managers. You will bring technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals, and practical experience building scalable software test infrastructure consisting of manual testing, test automation, mobile & devices testing, functional and non-functional test requirements.

Key job responsibilities:
You'll build and maintain test infrastructure for a multi-platform (mobile, web, Alexa) product that will be used to validate all aspects of the product.Work alongside other Quality assurance engineers (QAE's) to design, develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans and manual test cases to validate new features.Strategize testing and automation areas, which involves Mobile UI and Devices test validation for the multi-platform product working with QAE's and SDET's to meet the program goals.Support automation frameworks that work across a wide range of Amazon devices with software configuration management (SCM) to establish a continuous build and test cycle.Leverage the existing automation framework to design, create and maintain an automated test suite and also work closely with SDET's to evolve the automation framework and coverage.Create and report test execution status summary along with defect information.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS2+ years of quality assurance engineering experienceExperience in automation testingExperience in manual testingExperience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in API & Mobile testingExperience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and controlBS degree in computer science or equivalentAdvanced writing and spoken English proficiencyAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
