Responsibilities: Carry out tasks and provide services that ensure quality in the different stages of the process and final product, complying with the established inspection frequency.Coordinate functions of quality inspectors.Audit compliance with quality inspections according to the frequency established in the quality control sheet. Report the results of said audits in a timely manner.Essential Responsible Areas: Perform quality inspections of materials in process and finished product according to the frequency established in the control sheet for each production line in order to satisfy customer specifications.Inform production when inspection results do not meet customer specifications so they can make any necessary adjustments. Validate again after making an adjustment.Feed quality inspection information to the Infinity system or to the corresponding records.Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) or work instructions for the area of responsibility.Communicate pertinent and relevant information from the shift to colleagues from the next shift.Control and handle non-conforming product. Re-inspect and follow up on non-conforming product until release or final disposal.Willingness to provide technical service to customers.Review and maintain the equipment used for the inspections as well as the supplies, materials, spare parts and tools required for the assigned areas.Responsibilities and Competences in Safety, Health, Environment and SACIA: Report and participate in the investigation of Accidents / Incidents.Report substandard (unsafe) conditions and acts detected in your work area.Comply with the internal regulations of Safety, Health and Environment. (General Work Rules and Specialized Work Rules).Use a defined personal protective equipment when they go to any area of operation within the production plant.Report any product that does not comply with the guidelines of the Quality Assurance and Food Safety System.Stop the activity being carried out by a service provider if the safety of the products is put at risk.Key Stakeholders: Action oriented. Makes good decisions based on a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment; most of their solutions and suggestions turn out to be correct and exact.Minimum Requirements: Work experience in the area for a minimum of 2 years.Broad training ground, usually required through high school education, career technical or equivalent.Skills: To apply standard evaluation and modification of standard quality assurance techniques, procedures and criteria.To identify product defects using proper inspection procedures and test equipment.To learn internal and customer specifications.To maintain and care for the inspection equipment.To use tables and graphs.To operate and functionally use a computer.To work as a team.To communicate effectively with internal and external customers.To work in shifts.To lead a work team.Knowledge: Job knowledge of the following areas: Documentary Control, Preventive Actions and Corrective Actions, Control and Management of Non-Conforming Product, Traceability, HACCP, Functional and Dimensional Tests, Follow-up of Customer Complaints / Claims, Internal and Customer Specifications.
