**Summary**QA Technician will guarantee the compliance of products (as well as services and manufacturing processes) with the company's standards or those required by law. Their role is to ensure the ongoing equivalent quality of merchandise, in order to build customer loyalty.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**- Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.- Performs regular inspections in manufacturing departments as set out by the QA audit schedule.- Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics.- Tests, inspects and audits products, packaging, material and processes at various stages of the production cycle.- Compiles and evaluates data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.- Follow up and suggest action items to improve quality overall.- Participates in sample sign-offs with high responsibility to validate correlation with the Customer expectations, fit and function and manufacturability.- Audit first off production parts and validate accuracy to master sample sign off samples.- Prepares daily Quality Reports as well as specific and critical quality specification instructions by product and customer as required.- Ensures all QMS policies and procedures are being followed and follow up on action items to correct deficiencies.- Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.- Investigates non-conforming issues and prepares root cause analysis.- Performs any other reasonable assignments given by the Department Management or his/her designates.**Job Requisitions**- University program certificate; or 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.- 1-2 years of experience leading a small team of Quality Inspectors.- Knowledge in Core Tools a plus.- Knowledge in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) a plus.- Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment an asset.- Advanced level of Spanish & English.- Ability to read engineering drawings a must.- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.- Experienced in working with Microsoft Office products.- Flexibility to work different shifts as required.Y6YJuoFiur
