Today we are looking for our next: **Quality & Food Safety Director Mexico****Main Objective**:Ensure proper Manufacturing execution of PMF strategy for quality control systems and food safety audits, certifications and FSMA compliance, global initiatives to ensure the compliance with the food safety systems.Develops and implements an end to end Quality System to put in place the appropriate controls at field (agro), procurement, manufacturing, distributing and merchandising to achieve the requirements of our Customers and Consumers.Assures specifications monitoring, boosts process capability, and drives audits and corrective/preventive actions processes for the quality continuous improvement of the business.
**Purpose**:Leads and drives the Quality Strategy for PMF in manufacturing plants aligned with Latam & Global Teams, for captivating the consumer with safe and wholesome products of outstanding quality, consistency and value.
Investigate, design, train, implement, regulate and verify the correct execution of the systems, processes, methodologies and tools so that the integration and front-line teams of the plants at a Mexico level comply with the standards of the process and Quality by consistently reproducing the Design of products for the satisfaction of our Clients and Consumers.
**Scope**:Pepsico Mexico Biscuits, Savory and confectionary Manufacturing sites according to country.
**Responsibilities**:- Ensure compliance with specific manufacturing processes and product quality according to consumer satisfaction as well as detect opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in all plants.- Direct technical support to standardize equipment and processes based on the ideal line, and lead for all vertical start ups in all manufacturing site to ensure capability and productivity, as well as the elimination of non-quality costs.
Design and execute experiments, analyze and interpret data to make technical recommendations on process advancement.- Together with manufacturing sites, leads RCA root Causes Analsis to elaborate and validate Processing Controls Manuals, to keep a process improvement performance in the main quality control and food safety KPIs.- Leads the master plan for technical training in processes, in conjunction with national experts.- Advise, recommend and support the technical feasibility for the development of new products and inputs.- Verify the reproducibility and consistency of the Gold Standard, through periodic evaluations, coordinating preventive and corrective improvement actions, establishing and replicating in all plants the best practices for quality consistency and increased productivity
