**Position Title: Quality Engineer****Reports to: Quality Manager**As a **Quality Engineer**, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving our product/service quality standards. You will lead quality initiatives, drive process enhancements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve our quality objectives.**RESPONSIBILITIES**:*****Quality Assurance Leadership**- Provide leadership and expertise in quality assurance processes, methods, and tools.- Lead and mentor the quality engineering team, providing guidance and coaching.- Drive a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.- Ensure adherence to quality standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.**Quality Planning and Strategy**:- Develop and execute comprehensive quality plans and strategies to meet organizational goals.- Collaborate with management to define quality objectives, targets, and KPIs.- Identify and prioritize areas for quality improvement and process optimization.- Establish and implement quality metrics and reporting mechanisms.**Root Cause Analysis and Problem-Solving**:- Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality issues and non-conformities.- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address identified problems.- Utilize quality tools and methodologies (e.G., 8D, Six Sigma) to resolve issues.- Implement robust and sustainable solutions to prevent reoccurrence.**Quality System Compliance**:- Ensure compliance with quality management system standards e.G., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949 & VDA (desirable).- Participate in internal and external audits and maintain audit readiness.- Collaborate with regulatory affairs to ensure product/service compliance.- Support the development and maintenance of quality policies and procedures.**Process Improvement and Optimization**:- Lead and participate in process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and quality.- Implement statistical process control (SPC) and quality control measures.- Identify opportunities for automation and digitization in quality processes.- Drive Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes.**Skills**: Preferred- IATF16949- 8D Problem Solving
