Located in Atlacomulco Plant will implement process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques (when required) and will design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment.
This individual will analyze production process limitations and standards, and work with Technical Services to recommend revision of specifications when indicated.
The role assists in formulating quality policies and procedures and will develop the required quality activities.
Will have direct interface with the Customer-internal and external-and the plating supplier.
This position reports to the Quality Manager and dote line to Area Manager,will lead activities that develop people within the operation, improve Customer Satisfaction, and implement Innovative solutions to problems and/or process improvements.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- PPAP submission for new launches and Engineering changes
- Take the leadership and participate in new projects through APQP methodology
- Coordinate corrective actions with a cross functional team until 8 D"s is fully submitted to the customer and provide evidences.
- Follow up to the safe launch methodology for new launches to make sure we are delivering good parts.
- Follow up to old and new eQINs until closure.
- Take the leadership in shop floor to effectively communicate the issue with customer and follow up 8D"s methodology working together with production, and process engineer.
In general, with all the team.
- Stablish acceptance and reject criteria in shop floor for all production team
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Teamwork leading inspectors, laboratory testers, QC Engineers etc.
toward the Quality Objectives.

- 5-7 years of experience in similar position
- 80% bilingual English-Spanish
- ISO 9001:2015 ISO 14001, certification preferred
- CORE TOOLS certification preferred
**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

**EDUCATION**:
Industrial or Mechanical Engineer, Bachelor"s Degree in related discipline required
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Ensure that test procedures meet regulatory specifications
- Provide QC information to organizational departments, suppliers, etc.
- Manage containment and corrective actions
- Track and report trends from data collection to optimize Quality
- Participate in the development of product specifications and quality plans
- Support Quality Management with customer service related to Quality issues
- Monitor performance of quality systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency; Provide data to support improvement actions
