**Job Summary**
This position will serve as the primary point of contact for Quality to support the production lines in the facility. Will be responsible of designing and maintaining the Quality System in the value stream which involves both a proactive approach to prevent defects and Quality related disruptions as well as accountability to react upon Quality defects to mitigate time and cost impacts. Performs advanced inspection and audits to track, analyze, and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure conformance to company's quality standards.
**What You Will Do**:
- Ensure CQMS is aligned and properly executed in the value stream.
- Maintaining quality system documentation.
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving nonconformance. Investigating problems on worked purchased finished, rough, and interplant material.
- Will be responsible to coordinate the value stream cross-functional team in RCCA process, for assuring correct root cause
- identification upon Quality events and appropriate interim and permanent corrective actions are determined, executed and validated for effectiveness.
- Conducting measurement systems analysis; gathering, analyzing, and communicating non-conformance data.
- Coordinates various Quality training programs.Participating in and offering technical support to internal and external audits; following up response of corrective action from audit.
**Education requirement**:
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering or related field.
**What skills you will have**
**Quality Management**:
- Practical knowledge of APQP concepts; PFMEA, Control Plan, SWES, MSA.
- Advanced ability to perform CMM report interpretation.
- Ability to manage value stream Quality metrics: PPM, FPY, Scrap, BIQ F/N/M.
- Understand the Non-Conforming Product Management process.
- Advanced Knowledge in Layered Process Audits.
- Knowledge of software systems: ETQ, SAP, Infinity, AQE.
**Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies**:
- Knowledge in reading engineering drawing reading and 1E spec interpretation.
- Knowledge of GD&T.
- Advanced and required knowledge of the machining process (essential).
- Knowledge Assembly process.
- Advanced knowledge in Casting and forging common defects.
**Root Cause Analysis (RCA)**:
- Ability to use RCA techniques, such as Flowchart, Fish-bone Diagram, etc., to investigate basic problems, determine the causes, and find resolutions.
- Ability to extrapolate lessons to be learned to promote the achievement of better consequences
- Ability to effectively ensure that implemented ICA & PCA are communicated and understood by all levels of the value chain.
- Ability to generate of RCCA & A3 formats.
- Basic statistical knowledge.
**Additional Information**:
- This position will be in Cienega de Flores, Nuevo Leon, MX.
- Sufficient schedule availability is required (during production line implementation only).
- International travel may be required up to 20% of the time (during production line implementation only).
- This position requires advanced proficiency in English
