Reporting Line: Quality Control Coordinator
Your role in a nutshell: Ensure the quality of the product according to the requirements and specifications of the customer and the organization by means of compliance, monitoring, and analysis of the control plans and procedures of the QMS.
To be in direct contact with the customer by responding to customer complaints and requirements. Provide detailed information on official and unofficial complaints to the manufacturing plant, leading the analysis of corrective actions to respond in a timely manner to the customer.
What will you be doing:
Update weekly and verify Customer Portals for Quality metrics (PPMs, KPMs, PIR, Debits).
Release the finished product, approve of Scrap Parts, customer charges with customer, as well as recovery of defective material.
Communicate any problems with customer to Manufacturing plant, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Deliver timely analysis and corrective actions of those reported using the client's portal and/or system.
Develop 8Ds following the company's methodology in problem solving.
Participate on periodic visits to clients to follow up on corrective actions and/or action plans.
Administrate guaranteed documentation and customer warranty claims in the Log Book.
Stop non-conforming finished product./ Stop the production process if the product does not meet the customer's requirements.
Administrate of auditors and inspectors (reprimands, permits, absenteeism, etc.....)
Perform LPA audits according to the monthly calendar role
Make sure that procedures, instructions and processes related to the position are compliant with customer requirements and those of ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
Optimize the consumption of water, natural gas, electricity.
What will help you to get the job done:
Ideally, 8 years of similar experience within automotive industry.
Knowledge of core tools MSA and experience working with drawing Interpretation, APQPs, PPAPs
Knowledge of Automotive Standards VDA, ISO TS 16949, ISO 14001.
Experience working with: Problem Solving Analysis (8Ds).
Focus on results and good team player.
Leadership, problem solving and proactive mindset.
Fluency in English (B2/B2+) is a must.
