**Job Description**:
**SUMMARY**:In this role you will lead the quality function by providing work leading for quality engineers and quality technicians and interact regularly with engineering, manufacturing and service functions to establish quality standards for raw material, work in process and finished products.
**Employee Development & Management**
- Train and provide development opportunities for staff.
Ensure annual goals are complete and communicated.
Monitor and evaluate team members, and adjust training where needed..
- Model and promote the Corporation's Code of Business Ethics and Values.
- Act as a team role model and change-agent.
- Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals.
- Coordinate team efforts, create and manage a regional strategy and team operating plan.
**General**
- Lead continuous improvement and quality assurance projects.
- Improve product consistency.
- Provide project management and technical leadership.
- Lead cross-functional team on projects.
Communicate and work with all levels of the organization.
Manage a large multi-function program or a set of projects.
Interact with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
- Responsibility for quality assurance efforts for assigned area.
- Achieve maximum levels of productivity, ensuring that the business benefits from the lowest possible cost and best value.
- Develop, analyze and manage quality expenses.
- Provide leadership to quality initiatives.
- Develop quality Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures for assigned area and confirm linkage to global business strategies.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong written and oral communication, both English and Spanish, skills with ability to be an advisor to clients and build strong and sustainable relationships.
- High School Diploma.
Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
- 2-3 years manufacturing and engineering or related experience, with supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Sound engineering and people-leading skills.
- Demonstrated understanding and skills in project and program management.
- Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO or related experience preferred.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
Strong organization and attention to detail
- Skilled in team building and experience in effectively working with cross functional teams.
