DuPont has an opening position of Quality Engineer based in Reynosa, MX. As Quality Engineer you will establish and be accountable for all Quality activities within a business unit or site, including the quality management system, customer satisfaction, quality certifications, quality-related aspects of supplier and contract manufacturer relationships, training, quality audits, and corrective and preventive actions. Will work closely with business/site leadership to drive continuous quality improvement.
Your key responsibilities will be/what you'll do: May supervise or act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team.Analyzes potential solutions to problems (with or without vague/unstructured aspects) using experience, judgment, and precedents.Create quality related reports for internal and external distribution.Perform supplier audits, internal audits and participate in customer audits.Establish and maintain quality data like PPM, D/P-FMEA, 8Ds, PPAP's, SPC, MSA and others as appropriate.Work with manufacturing partners and suppliers regarding their specific requirements.Coordinate the PPAP process (including developing, reviewing, and approving FMEAs, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, etc… as appropriate) working with all parties involved (e.g., engineering, suppliers/manufacturing partners, operations…) to ensure customer and Dupont Laird PM Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field.2-5 years of experience in similar rolePeople management experienceExperience with platinum chemical and stamped processesKnowledge and experience with IATF16949:2015 and ISO9001: 2015Basic flowcharting ability and procedure analysis.Fluency in English languageKnowledge of statistical process control.Knowledge of PPM, D/P-FMEA, 8Ds, PPAP's, SPC, MSAData analysis skills coupled with above average report writing, chart development abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Windows based Applications (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).DuPont is an equal opportunity employer.
