Responsibilities and Activities:
Quality Standards Establishment and Maintenance:
Ensure that processes and products comply with applicable standards and regulations.
Quality Inspections and Analysis:
Conduct inspections, investigations, and measurements of products at various production stages to identify and correct defects before delivery to the customer.
Documentation Management:
Maintain and manage quality-related documentation, including inspection reports, test records, and certificates of compliance.
Quality Audits:
Perform internal audits of the quality system and coordinate external audits to ensure compliance with established requirements.
Customer Complaints and Corrective Actions Follow-up:
Review emails to capture customer complaints in the database.
Share information with the local team and follow up on 8D responses and corrective action reports.
Report Preparation:
Create monthly defect percentage reports for all customers.
Prepare charts using tools like Minitab for SPC tracking and coordinate the review of customer defects.
Coordination and Weekly Meetings:
Coordinate and attend weekly meetings with production, engineering, and customer teams, including LATAM, MXCOM, and Color Forum meetings.
Corrective Actions Implementation:
Verify the implementation of corrective actions in the area.
Coordinate with production and engineering teams to address 8D responses and internal or external audit reports.
Continuous Improvement:
Implement and supervise continuous improvement programs such as 5S and Kaizen.
Deliver monthly A3 presentations on 5S.
Supplier Collaboration:
Work with suppliers to ensure that materials and components meet quality standards.
5S Audits:
Perform 5S audits in production areas and offices, ensuring adherence to 5S standards and acting as a 5S Champion.
Experiencia y requisitos
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience in a similar role (3-5 years).
Knowledge of 8D methodologies, SPC, 5S, Kaizen.
Proficiency in tools like Minitab and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
