Experience what's next at Avnet!Job Summary: Develops, evaluates, analyzes, revises, applies and deploys technical quality assurance tools, methods and appropriate work content for assigned areas.Principal Responsibilities: Assigned areas may include inspection, verification, validation, quality systems, quality engineer, process development and improvement, customer assurance, supplier quality or other appropriate internal and external teams or processes.Ensures processes and items are in compliance with applicable quality assurance and industry standards, company, customer, supplier, government and regular requirements (ISO, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)Analyzes and identifies trends in various inspection, quality, process, customer, supplier and other related data; recommends corrective action or improvement plans when necessary.Conducts random, scheduled and/or unscheduled audits to determine conformance to customer specifications and technical drawings, manufacturer's specifications, assembly manual requirements, company processes and procedures and other such specifications and requirements.Interfaces with and coordinates activities of internal cross-functional teams, customers, suppliers, third-party certifying bodies and other external stakeholders.Provides quality systems, quality tools, technical support, improvements and other applicable quality expertise as appropriate, e.G., root cause analysis, sampling plans, Pareto analysis, statistical process control, etc.Other duties as assigned.Job Level Specifications: Foundational knowledge of specialized disciplines, industry practices and standards, acquired via academic instruction and/or relevant work experience of substantially the same level.Develops solutions to defined tasks, typical assignments and projects.
