**Job Title**:Quality Engineer - IATF16949 Specialist****Position Overview**:The Quality Engineer - IATF16949 Specialist is responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing procedures, processes and products meet the stringent quality standards, with a specific focus on compliance with IATF 16949. This role is crucial for maintaining the high quality and reliability of our automotive products.**Responsibilities**:1. **Quality Management System (QMS)**:- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with IATF 16949 standards and customer specific requirements.- Ensure all quality procedures, documentation, and records comply with IATF 16949 requirements.- Support external and conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with IATF 16949.2. **Process Improvement**:- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.- Implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and root cause analysis.3. **Supplier Quality Management**:- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure their processes and products meet quality standards.- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate their compliance with IATF 16949.4. **Product Quality Assurance**:- Develop and maintain inspection procedures and criteria.- Manage non-conforming products and coordinate with production to address quality issues.5. **Training and Development**:- Provide training and support to employees on quality standards, procedures, internal audits, and best practices.- Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Quality Engineer/Auditor, preferably at a tier 1 Automotive Supplier with a strong focus on IATF 16949 standards.- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), and/or IATF 16949 Auditor preferred.- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.G., FMEA, SPC, PPAP, APQP).- Familiarity with statistical analysis software and quality management software.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.- **Proficiency in Spanish and English languages (written and verbal)**Work Location: In person
