With sales and service locations throughout the world, and over 100 years of battery experience, EnerSys is the power/full solution for stored DC power products.Lead the establishment and improvement of the quality management system, promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the plant. Supports and supervises the quality of the manufacturing processes. Ensure that the Quality KPI's are met.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.Hold daily meetings with the quality team to follow up on relevant activities and review status of such activities for their closure.Develop component and product inspection acceptance and rejection criteria.Coordinate activities relating to CAPA's/NCRs & SCARs using 8D methodology.Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of control plans for new processes and current processes.Conduct and/or coordinate internal audits of the quality system.Participate in the MRB process.Responsible for daily waste/scrap monitoring and follow-up on waste projects with the quality supervisors' team.Support internal external Quality audits, including customer audits.Coordinate the non-conforming material area.Analyze customer complaints, field complaints, and coordinate corrective actions to prevent them from recurring.Responsible for compiling and analyzing quality data, identifying trends and causes.Creates, review and sends reports required by corporate, regarding quality.Generates and sends deviation request (MRR) for final disposition of materials and/or products that do not meet specifications.Responsible for root cause analysis, definition of action plans and monitoring of closure actions resulting from non-conformities from internal/external customers and non-conformities from internal and external audits.Responsible for the training, development, information, understanding and application of the quality assurance system of the personnel under his/her charge.Responsible for creating compliance certificates according to client requirements.QualificationsKnowledge of ISO 9001-2015.Strong leadership and managerial skills. Proven decision-making abilities and prior experience managing a team.Highly organized with strong project management skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Works well under pressure.Knowledge of drawing interpretation, PPAP, MSA & SPC.Exceptional communication skills, both in written and verbal English and Spanish
