What do you get to do in this position? Support new product introductions, supplier development activities related to manufactured components. Lead internal/external customer complaints with problem solving methologies as 8D, A3, Lean Six Sigma Projects. Drive process robustness through PFMEA, process control plans and poka yoke/jidoka solutions. Monitor supplier quality performance at the plant level and report it. Lead suppliers process audits. Deploy projects to increase productivity and process improvements and utilize digital technology with our contract manufacturers. Pilot the qualification of the products (finished goods) through PPAP process. Qualifications We know skills and competencies show up inmany different waysand can be based on your life experience. This job might be for you if: Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial). 3 + years experience with manufacturing quality, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent. Experience with 8D problem solving methodology, tool utilization (5Why, fishbone (cause and effect), etc.) Six Sigma knowledge, experience, certification highly desired. Demonstrated analytical skills with data, problem resolution, project management. Strong desire to work with people, on the manufacturing floor and with customer interface, excellent follow-up and execution skills. Advanced english Schedule: Full-time
