.**Description**Our Molex division is seeking a Quality engineer with experience on molding processes for the Guadalajara Sur, Mexico Location.Molex LLC is a manufacturer of electronic, electrical, and fiber optic connectivity systems. Molex offers over 100,000 products across a variety of industries, including data communications, medical, industrial, automotive and consumer electronicsThe **Quality Engineer** will be in chargo of planning, coordinating, and administrating the required Quality functions.**What You Will Do In Your Role**:- Maintain a safe work environment and good housekeeping practices (6S).- Lead efforts to improve Quality performance metrics (QN, Scrap, Non-conforming material and Sorting). Organize and oversee the tabulation of summary information for management and customer reports. Help to support & drive Zero-Defect mentality throughout the department.- Respond to customer issues by deploying appropriate containment actions and / or corrective actions. Interface directly with customers in a timely and professional manner. Prepare detailed 8D reports.- Provide guidance in the development and analysis of inspection requirements, gaging criteria, SAP requirements, product processing techniques & methodologies.- Plan, execute, analyze and report on product/process change evaluations as well as production problems using appropriate statistical tools.- Work with AQP Engineers, Design Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers on qualification, PPAP, and Safe-Launch of new and existing products. Participate and support the APQP process.- Ensure that FMEA, control plan, and process flow documentation are effectively deployed in production and that requirements are periodically reviewed for all processes. Developing the inspection routines for process and final audits.- Actively support Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and programs.- Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Quality and Environmental systems by following stated policies and procedures including compliance to Quality Mgt systems, IATF 16949, and Customer Specific Requirements. Contribute as a member of the internal audit team.- Other duties as assigned.**The Experience You Will Bring**:**Requirements**:- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, quality, or management field.- Minimum of Five years' experience in automotive manufacturing or quality-related field, or equivalent education and training.- Molding and Assemblies process- Knowledge in the IATF 16949- Exemplify the MBM® Guiding Principles.- Good organizational and interpersonal skills; strong oral and writtencommunication abilities.- Strong analytical data analysis and proficient use of software.- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
