Together, let's create the extraordinary!Job SummaryPosition SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to add a Quality Engineer (NPI Enclosures) located in Guadalajara, North Campus.Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer (NPI Enclosures) role involves Maintaining quality engineering programs, standards, and improvements within the organization.What a typical day looks like:- Approves product, process, and equipment qualifications.- Develops and initiates inspection, testing and evaluation standards and methods.- Develops sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.- Develops and applies methods and procedures for the removal of discrepant material and devises methods for assessing cost and accountability.- Directs workers responsible for measuring and testing product and tabulating data relating to materials, product or process quality and reliability.- Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.- Ensures the availability and integrity of all quality related data.
Consolidates and reports quality results.- Responsible for the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of quality standards for the processing of materials into partially finished products.- Designs and applies methods and procedures to inspect, test and evaluate the accuracy and precision of products and/or production equipment.- Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action.- Internal and customer communication.The experience we are looking for to join our team:- Engineering or equivalent work experience (metalworking).- Experience with KPIs (Quality).- Knowledge of quality tools (8Ds, 5 Whys, Pareto Diagram etc.
)- Experience with engineering changes.- Experience with NPI.- Familiar with FMEA and control plan.- Knowledge of Soft Tool (Punching, Laser, Bending, Insertion, etc.
