The production facilities in Florence, KY and Queretaro, MX manufacture and administer products for the NAFTA region.**Job Description**:**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES **include the following. Other duties may be assigned.- Establish relationships within Bosch and at North American customers to effectively identify and manage quality risks, with the goal to proactively improve Bosch quality.- Maintain and improve customer relations related to quality targets.- Lead customer and internal corrective action teams by utilizing various quality tools and processes to identify the root cause of a problem and implement effective corrective actions.- Create and maintain field quality performance reports for assigned customers, and utilize analytical mindset to identify product performance trends and communicate within the organization.- Lead and participate in quality improvement projects for defined products and processes.- Review warranty returns and trends to identify potential issues.- Systematic field quality monitoring and warranty cost control for AS and systems through active inquiry and analysis of customer specific databases.- Crisis management and de-escalation negotiations- Support APQP process and ability to work in the APQP team for new program launches and major product design changes.- Support resolution of Audit findings to IATF 16949 standards. Coordinate and facilitate customer audits.- Support the preparation of operational procedures and instructions in accordance with IATF 16949.- Support continuous improvement activities for safety, quality, and productivity.**Qualifications**:Required:- Bachelor's degree or three to five years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in areas of engineering or technical operations- 2+ years experience in Quality- High level of English, able to establish and lead technical discussions with customer- Analytical thinkingAdditional InformationThe QMC position is the responsible to track and monitor field returns performance, working together with the manufacturing facility for the analysis and definition of corrective actions to reduce or eliminate the occurrence. The QMC engineer reports to QMC manager located in Plymouth but the working activities happen at Queretaro facilities. Responsible to lead meetings internally or external by presenting information, trends and actions to the stake holders or customer
