**Sr. Quality Engineer **for operations in San Luis Potosí Plant, JIT Division (San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí)

As a **Sr. Quality Engineer **you will be responsible for the primary focus of the Quality Engineer is to perform product and process according to the Control Plan in conjunction with the production team of the plant.
Leads 8D problem resolution processes for concerns that arise internally and externally which includes
Close interaction with Customer Quality Engineer on troubleshooting updates.
YOUR TASK WILL BE
- Ensure continuous compliance with the control plans, including the maintenance of documents during the life of the platform, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Responsible for the approval and maintenance of quality documentation for the benefit of quality as part of a cross functional team for the production line/cell such as Control Plans,
- Work Instructions, Boundary Samples, Appearance Books, Rework, procedures, formats, ensuring their correct inclusion in the SGC.
- Ensures compliance with containments, rework, process inspections for non-conforming product
- Leads the disposition of nonconforming product and ensures disposition on time.
- Quality Leader in the problem-solving team, Responsible directing the troubleshooting process including the use of tools, confirmation of 8D content and compliance with internal or client response requirement
- In the case of a non-conforming product, it facilitates the problem-solving process with the relevant team
- Coordinate any raffle activity and product review internally:
- Solve problems of capacity, tolerance and materials related to quality incidents.
- Solves quality problems by identifying problems, examining solution options, implementing action plans and provide resources
- Carry out process capacity studies in existing processes. Review and analyze results.
- Recommend changes to the process based on findings and follow up to verify effectiveness
- Participate in the modification of FMEA and related engineering documents.
- Supervises, trains and trains Jr. engineers, auditors, inspectors and manufacturing quality leaders. It is responsible for the audit and inspection process, as well as the resulting information in the areas where a risk is identified with compliance with customer standards and requirements (manufacturing, shipments, etc.)
- Has the authority and responsibility to stop any process or product delivery in case of any non-conformity to customer expectations, safety or environmental risk
- Provide technical information support to the customer, through the Customer Quality Engineer
- Consolidate corporate indicators and monitor them for compliance with Quality objectives
- Check markings and formats of the KRONOS system, and in case of being an account administrator, ensure the closing of quality payroll in a timely manner.
- Consolidate compliance in terms of Safety and Hygiene based on the requirements corporate and legislative of the country.
- Consolidate compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), corporate policy, and the requirements of customers, such as CQC audit, LPOF and annual requalification
- Standardize 5's in each work unit, through the established programs, to guarantee a safe and healthy workplace.
- Individually ensure compliance with the Internal Labor Regulations (RIT) to contribute to the generation of a work environment based on order, respect, and discipline.
- Be a participant in the generation of savings and Continuous Improvement of the plant.
- In charge of tracking, solving, problems in the rework area to improve the quality of the product at its point of initial origin
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLL YOU WILL NEED
- Professional Industrial Engineering or related
- 5 years of previous experience in the area within the automotive industry
