**Quality Improvement System (QIS) Lead**
**A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)**
The Quality Improvement System (QIS) Lead reviews open records daily for progress, coordinates with respective business partner and/or record owner to perform Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) in our distributed business. Establish relationships with fellow distributed QIS leads to either process records jointly or by transferring to appropriate business area.
**How You'll Make an Impact (responsibilities)**
- Analyze quality issue as they are submitted to the system.
- Gather the correct team to address the issue.
- Facilitate, document, and submit the RCA, and action plan for approval.
- Follow up with action implementation.
- Report out periodic data analysis.
- Work on system-level improvements based on wider data analysis.
**What You Bring (requirements)**
- 6 - 10 years experience in quality management.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or general Quality Management improvement processes.
- ** Basic RCA training (e.g. 5Why, Fishbone, 8D).**:
- Advanced RCA Training (e.g. Kepner Tregoe, Apollo, Six Sigma methodology.
- Project Management Training (e.g. basic scheduling and time management).
