**Quality Laboratory Engineer**
Cuernavaca, Morelos (Onsite)
**Position Summary**
Thales is looking for a **Quality Laboratory Engineer **who is primarily responsible to accomplish and follow up for programs of quality product reliability, new product and process introduction or changes to validate new materials, products and processes.
In this position, you will also support of complaint management to LATAM sites through Field return analysis process and support on administration for the documentary database for Quality Management System MX sites.
**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Creation of trustworthy qualification, reliability, and failure analysis reports for the region to facilitate business decision making.
- Release and update quality offers for LATAM region for internal and external stakeholders.
- Encourage LATAM standardization for best practices in quality assurance plans and programs.
- Accomplish KPIs commitment (SLA) for the different project type managed in the Lab.
- Support the sites in face to customer´s complaints through the technical explanation on failure analysis reports.
- Active participation on laboratory Quality System Management maintenance, Including:
- Calibration
- Procedures and instructions updates
- Evaluations
- HSE maintenance in lab.
- Audits
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Degree in Industrial, Electronic, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Software program development Specialization is desirable.
- 3 or more years of experience in a similar position.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written.
- Strong knowledge of Quality tools as SPC, analysis methodologies, processes, machine metrics, test procedures, equipment and sanction available in laboratory.
- Experience with Business Continuity Management System ISO22301 - Risk Management and internal policies and platforms management.
- Strong communicator and negotiator, analytical, results-oriented, customer-oriented, a strong time manager, autonomous, honest, and empathetic.
