.Responsible for operating the Quality Management System (QMS), drafting procedures and processes to support QMS development. Lead and conduct audits in all areas of the business. Provide training and advocate for the Quality Management System.Main Responsibilities and ActivitiesDevelop and maintain the QMS to ensure compliance with IATF/VDA 6.3 and CSR requirements.Establish, document, and maintain all quality assurance policies and procedures. This includes maintaining the Quality Manual and supporting procedures.Ensure that the QMS guarantees compliance with all customer-related Quality System requirements, etc.Establish and maintain QMS document control.Preparation and support for Internal and External Audits.Prepare and coordinate management review meetings.Follow up on audit results to promote the closure of actions.Act as the main contact for regulatory and customer audits.Develop and assist with the development of standard operating procedures, including requesting functional input from departments and participating in process development.Provide weekly/monthly reports on activities and key metrics.Liaise with customers on quality system-related issues.Implement and maintain LPAs (Layered Process Audits).Manage the Internal Auditor team.Manage Internal Audits.Manage and follow up on customer audits.Pursue quality objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.Review and follow up on management review meeting results and report to the Plant Manager on outcomes, compliance, or potential risks.Develop new approaches to resolve issues identified during quality activities to ensure continuous improvement of the Quality System.Play an active role in management teams within the organization.Maintain a working knowledge of industry quality codes and standards.Initiate, track, and follow up on corrective actions.Foster positive employee relationships and a positive work environment for department staff. Serve as a role model regarding company policy, procedures, and practices.Design and implement quality training programs for key personnel in conjunction with the Quality Manager/Quality Superintendent.Adhere to environmental and climate change policies.Identify, control, and minimize significant environmental aspects relevant to the work area.Practice good environmental practices.Education/Experience/SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, Electronics, or related fields from a 4-year college or university.At least 3 years of experience in QMS, CSR, Quality Control, and New Projects.Knowledge in all or some areas related to IATF 16949, ISO 9001: 2015, VDA 6.3, OEM portals, APQP, Core Tools.Certification as IATF 16949 Internal Auditor (Lead Auditor highly desirable), VDA 6.3 Auditor.Minimum of five years of experience managing quality systems, procedures, and practices for an automotive supplier in a manufacturing environment.In-depth knowledge of IATF requirements
