RHI Magnesita has an amazing opportunity for Quality Management Team Leader in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila!
The Quality Management Team Leader applies their knowledge and skills to define and specify activities, process, and standards to fulfill the quality requirement for manufactures material, component, or product
Responsibilities include build and maintain the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products as well as audit monitory, and determine the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against define internal and regulatory standards
Additionally, the Quality Management Team Leader will report and troubleshoot manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods
This position will report to the Head of Plant Ramos Arizpe.
The Quality Team Leader will travel both domestically and internationally with about 50% travel time.
**The Quality Management Team Leader's tasks include**:
- Responsibility for the overall quality of production and supports the team in exceeding quality standards, rectifying quality concerns, and continually educating the workforce on essential quality delivery to our customers
- Lead and execute the development of Quality objectives
- Provides supervision, career development and guidance to department employees
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints; assure proper corrective action and closure
- Assure adherence to procedures and ISO 9001:2015
- Assure maintenance of formulation and specification databases
- Responsible for the quality of the products released against the specifications and quality standards established
- Implement and monitor quality measurement methodology
- Oversee training programs
- Drive a high performing team culture.
Evaluate staffing needs to determine necessary hiring, training, developmental, and disciplinary needs
**About you**
Do you have:
- Bachelor in Materials, Industrial, Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering
- Master's Degree in Ceramics is preferred
- 5 - 10 years of experience in manufacturing environment working in Quality Assurance
- High proficiency with use of an ERP, MRP, or similar system for data input, output, report creation and data analysis
- Strong preference for experience refractory manufacturing
- Can work independently
- Process improvement driven
- High proficiency with MS Office Suite of products, specifically MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Training in ISO 9001:2015
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is required
- Willingness to travel as needed, both domestically and internationally
- Ability to interact with staff, partners, and the general public with a calm and professional demeanor
- Excellent Problem solving and organizational skills
