**GENERAL FUNCTION**
The Quality Manager partners with facility plant leaders to lead the quality function and quality results at the logistics/distribution facility. Through in-depth data analysis, root cause analysis and problem solving tools (Six Sigma methodology) and collaboration with key functions such as engineering, operations, training and procurement, the Quality Manager determines the quality improvement strategy and execution at the site level. The Quality Manager leads by example to enable a quality culture that places the customer and consumer need at the center.
**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Delivers mitigation of site nonconformities and adherence to operational efficiency/quality goals through data analysis and collaboration with internal stakeholders and customer feedback
- Executes problem solving/root cause analysis tools (Six Sigma methodology) to identify and develop improvement programs.
- Manages development of the Quality organization within the plant to enable delivery of quality goals.
- Leads use of automated data analysis to expedite reaction to quality issues and manipulates data as necessary to drive improvement.
- Executes processes within the site around product, packaging, & equipment qualification and validation systems.
- Acts as the liaison between Innovation Engineering activity and the facility leadership team to drive awareness and issue resolution that helps sustain/improve quality results.
- Executes change control systems to enable quality improvement sustainment.
- Documents processes and executes audits to ensure site improves performance through adherence to controlled documentation procedures.
- Collaborates with campus and network resources in development of standardization plan and influences site's leadership around executional needs.
- Collaborates with site leadership to ensure Quality needs are fully understood and prioritized.
- Ensures quality-related decisions meet consumer and customer needs.
- Leads execution of systems that ensure Quality KPIs/scorecard metrics are met.
- Understands all CI activity that target quality improvements.
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
- BS Engineering or equivalent experience
- Six Sigma Knowledge
- 5+ years of experience in areas of manufacturing and quality assurance
- Leadership & management skills
- Strong collaboration & follow-up skills
- Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization
- Ability to design and improve work systems
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Strong Excel (Pivot Tables), Microsoft Project, PowerPoint with ability to learn shared software
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- MS or MBA in engineering
- Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)/Lean Methodology
- ISO program / ISO auditing
- Microsoft Project expertise
- Minitab, Alteryx, and/or SAP Software experience
